Blurred

So the whole month of March is kind of a blur now. All I can say with complete certainty is that it was awesome. Some of the things I can remember are:

  • Huntsville Nature Club Meeting :
    • We went to the local nature clubs monthly meeting, there was a man there who rambled about his experience in Peru regarding birds. It was interesting enough, the best part of the meeting was at the end when we got to mingle with all of the members of the club. The majority of members were all 'well aged', so it was really fun to talk with them.
  • French Scavenger Hunt:
    • We did a scavenger hunt around town one night. All of the instructions were written in french so we had to translate it and then find what we were supposed to find. It was tons of fun, my partner was Marc. We found a new super awesome spot in hang out, it's an old tire swing beside the Summit Center that swings out over the river. SO FUN. (Pictures of hunt below)
  • Mini Mass-O:
    • We had our second Mini Mass-O in Orillia. We met up with all of the other groups in our district and played a bunch of games, it was a lot of fun. Since all the other groups are new to the area (because rotation had just happened and they go to two places each for three months) we (Huntsville) planned 45 mins. worth of games to show the other groups. They all loved our games and it was awesome. I love all of the new groups, we plan on seeing them next weekend to hang out and try and save Katimavik.
Other random things that we did include hanging out on our roof, jumping into the ice cold river twice, getting a visit surprise from an alumni, went on a big bike ride, played on the locks, said good bye to one of our group members Scott.

With Steve (the alumni) he's in the black t-shirt.
Playing on the locks.

After we jumped off the docks.

Biking on the flooded docks (so much fun).

Some of the people on the roof.

The day billeting ended, it was a super happy day. We were all reunited and it was lovely.

On the locks again.
